Why Play KVA
One of the popular programs within Knights Volleyball Academy is our KVA Club. Our competitive club teams compete in USAV North Texas Region sanctioned tournaments, as well as other USAV sanctioned tournaments outside of our region. KVA offers two types of competitive club teams. National and Royal.
KVA National teams are travel teams. The primary goal for our National teams is to qualify for the USAV Junior National Tournament at the end of the season. National teams will practice 2-3 days per week, and will compete in 9 or 10 tournaments throughout the season such as National Qualifiers, NTR Ranking Tournaments, the Regional Bid Tournament, the Tour of Texas, and local DFW tournaments. These teams will travel in state to compete in tournaments in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, and will also have the opportunity to compete in National Qualifier Tournaments all over the country.
KVA Royal teams are local teams. The primary goal of our Royal teams is to win the Regional Championship Tournament at the end of the season. Royal teams will practice 2-3 days per week, and will compete in 8 or 9 local tournaments within the DFW metroplex. Some Royal teams will be given the opportunity for regional travel outside of DFW. Regional travel is limited to cities in Texas, Oklahoma or Louisiana.
KVA is a family, and the club program is no different. Once a Knight, always a Knight.
KVA all the WAY!!!
